Such practices include: communication, encouraging team work and appreciating health workers. In addition, they should participate in the annual budgeting process to have their input and as a way of having more funds to finance the activities at the health centres and the managers at the health centres III should adopt and adapt people resource management skills and management practices that aim at motivating, supporting and ensuring the maternal health workers' commitment to their work and duty.
