    Abstract
The on-site work was undertaken for the period of 36 months, from 24th September 2015 to 30th September 2018 at the project for The Expansion of Uganda Technical College, Kichwamba with Pearl Engineering Company Limited (PEC). This report explains the activities that were participated in during the course of working as the contractor’s site manager that included managing the flow of the construction work, being in charge of quality control, leading different teams on site, mentoring and motivating subordinates and interns, overseeing Health and Safety issues on site and handling issues of the different stakeholders on site. Also, being in charge of all communication and reports with contractor’s head office and other Stakeholders (especially when the communication was from the site). This report also shows the challenges that were faced during that period and how they were solved; and the proposed recommendations to overcome the challenges where there were no solutions or the solutions were not optimal.
