The purpose of the study was to compare parental marital status, trust and anger in adolescent girls in separated and intact families and to examine the relationship between trust and anger. The study objectives were to compare trust and anger of adolescent girls whose parents were separated and those in families where both parents stay together, and to examine the relationship between separation, trust and anger. Three null hypotheses were derived from the objectives. The researcher used causal-comparative and correlational research designs. The study included 200 female adolescents from Masaka District 100 from intact and 100 from families where parents had separated, using stratified sampling. An independent sample t-test and Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient were used to test the hypotheses. Findings revealed that there was no significant difference in trust or in anger of children whose parents separated and those whose parents lived together. There was no significant relationship between anger and trust among adolescent girls in separated and intact families.en_US
