    Abstract
In this technical report, the author presents an analysis of the proposed construction of a 4 classroom at Mukose Memorial Junior School in Bugiri municipality on Plot 31 Katawo road at Busanzi Bwole Bugiri municipal council. The project aimed at decongesting the existing classrooms which suffered with an influx of new students at the beginning of the year 2024.this was attributed to getting 90% students passing in first grade. The classroom block consists of four spacious, well-ventilated classrooms, equipped with modern teaching aids and flexible furniture arrangements to promote interactive learning. Throughout the project's lifecycle, several management challenges were encountered, impacting timelines, budgets, and overall project efficiency. The author discusses the primary challenges encountered during the project execution which included but were not limited to; inadequate stakeholder engagement, delays in the procurement process, logistical issues related to material supply. Each of these challenges has been documented, with a focus on their root causes and the subsequent impact on project progress and how these were solved. To address these challenges, a series of corrective actions and mitigation strategies were implemented which included; enhanced communication protocols were established to improve stakeholder coordination. The procurement process was streamlined through strategic partnerships and advanced planning. Logistical challenges were mitigated by adopting a just-in-time delivery approach and diversifying suppliers. The author concludes with a set of recommendations aimed at preventing similar challenges in future projects. Key recommendations include increased stakeholder involvement from the project's inception, and the establishment of reliable material supply contractors. By highlighting the challenges encountered and the strategies implemented to overcome them, this report offers valuable insights and actionable recommendations for managing construction projects in the education sector. The conclusions drawn from this analysis serve as a resource for future initiatives, fostering efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely project completion.
