dc.description | MTSIFA (Margaret Trowell School of Industrial and Fine Art) landscape is an analytical visualization of the landscape surrounding MTSIFA administration. In this drawing, the artist demonstrates the power of using the dry media. Traditionally drawing was regarded as a means towards developing later art works such as painting or sculpture. It was therefore seen as a process of mental thinking. However, through this work, the artist presents this particular drawing as an end in itself. It is the power of detail and the interplay of shadows from different directions that give this work power and identity. The integration of the world of floral and physical structures such as the sculpture and the building give this work a clear and continuous sense of visual imaginations. | en_US |
